FAQs
What's a CDOC?
A Community-Driven Outcomes Contract funds community-led programs up front. If the program reaches its goals, investors are repaid with a return. If not, the government does not pay—ensuring accountability and impact.
What types of outcomes are funded?
Housing retrofits, clean energy, type-2 diabetes prevention, employment and training, and more. Projects are designed by communities to reflect their needs and priorities.
Where else is this being done, and how is Raven different?
Outcomes-based finance has a strong international track record, with successful models in the UK (Bridges Outcomes Fund), the US (Maycomb Capital’s Outcomes Fund), and Australia. Raven Outcomes is the first to bring this approach to Canada—and the only outcomes fund in the world that is Indigenous-led, grounded in self-determination, and designed in full partnership with communities.
We’re focused on scaling up across Canada with proven government alignment and measurable results.
