Fisher River Cree Nation and Peguis First Nation partnered with Raven to reduce energy costs and improve housing. Tired of waiting on slow government programs, they wanted a faster, community-driven solution.

The Challenge:
High energy bills, poor housing quality, and limited local job opportunities in clean energy.

The Solution:
Raven, Aki Energy, and both Nations worked together to install geothermal systems and upgrade homes. Local people were trained and hired to do the work.

Results:

  • 124 homes upgraded

  • 25+ people trained and employed

  • Lower energy bills for families

  • $7.6M in outcomes value created

  • $5.1M in outcomes purchased by CMHC & Efficiency Manitoba
